It's James Mann – he's an expert in doing studio photographs of cars. He also did a Goodwood calendar a couple of years ago in the retro style; in fact he pulled off the style so accurately that some old soak threatened to sue, claiming that one of the pictures was actually his!

I seem to remember talking to a photographer at the Goodwood Festival of Speed who said he’d done some pictures for a book with a similar theme to this one. Who did the photos for you?
